Charles Stanley (1818-1906) was my great,great uncle and appeared in the 2021 edition of History Armagh p20-26 in an article entitled Three Lives – Charles Stanley, his brother-in-Law and granddaughter.
His brother-in-law was George Charles Brackenridge (1814-1879) and his granddaughter was Elizabeth Adah Noel Hobart (1892-1937). The article can be viewed at History Armagh 2021
Elizabeth Adah Noel Hobart known as Adah at school and Betty in adult life. She married twice first to Oswald Armitage Carver and then over ten years after Waldo’s death at Gallipoli she married Bernard Law Montgomery
