NOTES: The information about the family in Australia was mailed to me by Ted Miller and is drawn from The Victorian Pioneers Index which shows the following (note that in all references, the surname is given as WOOD):

Henry Stanley Wood b. 1864 Skipton VIC, Reg. No. 5224.
Sarah Jane Wood b. 1867 Camperdown VIC, Reg. No. 6932.
Mitchell Stanley Wood d. 1868, age 30, Reg. No. 3490.
I checked to see if there was an inquest concerning Wood’s death at such a young age, but none was filed.
There are no further references to the family in the indices. Presumably, Margaret remarried and she and the children adopted a new surname. Hers being a relatively common name, she is impossible to follow.
