John Francis Maffett (1912-1942).
He rose to the rank of Wing Commander before being killed in action on 12th February 1942.
Gerard Hamilton Maffett (1916-1940).
He was a Pilot Officer with 257 Squadron which flew Hurricanes out of RAF Hendon. He was killed in action at the height of the Battle of Britain on 31st August 1940.
