The Family of John Stanley and Septima Walker

Thomas Walker Stanley was the fourth child and the eldest son of John and Septima Stanley and was baptized on 11th January 1809 in St Patrick's Cathedral, Armagh. He was also confimed there on 26th May 1824 at the age of 15, his address is given as English Street, Armagh. He attended the Royal School Armagh under the head mastership of Rev. George Miller, D.D., F.T.C.D. He commenced study at Trinity College Dublin on 4th July 1831 at the age of 22, having obtained a scholarship. He was a member of the College Historical Society. He had almost completed his studies in law when he fell ill, he had a protracted illness of 18 months, before dying on 28th May 1837 in Warrenpoint. He was buried in the Stanley family plot in St Mark's, Armagh on 31st May 1837.
