MR. JOHN STANLEY, Q.C., APPOINTED JUDGE
We are officially informed that the Queen has been pleased to approve of the appointment of Mr. John Stanley, Q.C., of the Irish Bar, to be a judge of the High Court of Judicature at Calcutta, in succession to Mr. Justice Trevelyan.Belfast News Letter, 23rd August 1898, page 5, column 6.
